How TestFlock works

Follow these steps to get started, stay active, and meet Google Play's closed testing requirements.

Join the Google Group

Join testflock@googlegroups.com with your TestFlock Google account to remain part of the community and access closed testing tracks.

List your app

Add your Play closed-testing app, share test instructions, and paste your Android closed testing opt-in link.

Join a Flock

Join a 16-member flock with open slots to build your 16-day reciprocal test run. Everyone in the flock tests everyone else's app.

Add FlyMates

Discover 1:1 testing partners outside your flock. Send requests and pair up for dedicated testing relationships.

Check in daily

Open each flock mate's and FlyMate's app for at least 30 seconds daily. TestFlock verifies usage automatically so accountability is built in.

Share feedback

Leave constructive feedback after check-ins. Plain eggs reward daily activeness; golden eggs reward helpful feedback reviewed by peers.

Track progress

Follow your 16-day progress matrix until every day is complete and your flock mates stay on track.

Next: set up Play Console

Before listing your app, configure closed testing in Google Play Console.
